Jones names squad to face France at Twickenham

England have gathered at their training base as they prepare for this weekend’s Quilter International against France.

Eddie Jones has assembled a squad of 33 players for the match – the final of the Autumn Nations Cup – which will be played at Twickenham Stadium on Sunday 6 December (2pm KO).

England secured their place in the final after topping Pool A, with wins against Georgia, Ireland and Wales. France beat Scotland and Italy Pool B and were awarded a win against Fiji they were unable to play after a number of players tested positive for COVID-19.

Alfie Barbeary receives his senior team first call-up while Joe Marchant and Jacob Umaga return after injury. Jonathan Joseph has withdrawn from the squad with a calf injury.

The game will see Twickenham Stadium welcome fans for the first time since March with 2,000 spectators allowed into The Home of England Rugby after the recent easing of lockdown restrictions.

You can watch England against France exclusively live on Amazon Prime.
