Become a Volunteer

Most rugby clubs simply wouldn’t run without volunteers. We would love to have you on board as a volunteer in rugby. Find out how you can get involved below.

Anyone! There are thousands of people giving up their time to support rugby clubs up and down the country. You don’t need to be a player or have any previous experience of rugby to join them and make a difference.

If you would like to get involved there are a plenty of opportunities to find your place on the team.

From on-field roles such as coaching to off-field roles such as helping with catering, event management, administration, facility development or marketing and communications – there’s a role for you.

Most of us want to make a difference in our local area, so volunteering at a nearby club is a great place to start. If you are already a member of a club, then get in touch with the committee who will let you know how you can help.

Giving up your time to volunteer can not only help your club, but also you. It’s been proven that volunteering has a positive effect on mental health, can help to boost confidence and is a great way to meet new people.

Volunteering doesn’t need to be a full-time commitment either. There are plenty of smaller tasks that you can help with or one-off events that need a team of people to pitch in.

To find out about the impact you can have as a volunteer, watch the video below.
