Red Roses in training

Women and Girls rugby on the rise

There has never been a more exciting time for women’s and girls’ rugby. As one of the fastest-growing sports for women and girls, rugby offers a dynamic and empowering environment where they can thrive, as evidenced by the success of the Red Roses. With the Women's World Cup 2025 on the horizon, now is the perfect time to get involved.

Between 2022 and 2026, the RFU is delivering a transformational Rugby World Cup 2025 Impact programme in partnership with HM Treasury, DCMS (Digital, Culture, Media, and Sport), Sport England, and UK Sport. This programme offers a range of support to clubs in areas such as Facility Development, Coaches & Match Officials, and Playing and Volunteering. Find out more below.
