England U18 Men to play France in March
England U18 Men will host France U18 at Esher Rugby Club on Saturday, 18 March (K.O. 12:30) to open their 2023 campaign.
The fixture will be the first of the year for the England men’s U18 team and will be live streamed via England Rugby channels.
The two sides finished last year’s Six Nations Under-18s Festival in France unbeaten after each winning three straight games.
England men’s U18 head coach, Jonathan Pendlebury, said: “We are very excited to be able to announce that we’re taking our first match of 2023 to Esher Rugby Club.
“Since last year, the men’s U18 squad has been training together in regional development camps around their school, college, and club games, and they’ve also been working hard with their academies, only this past weekend finishing the Premiership Rugby U18 Academy League. So, the France match will be a good chance for them to take what they’ve been practicing onto the pitch against a quality international opposition.”
Admission will be free for children under 18, and the club will be asking for a donation of £5 from adults wishing to enter.
