Christmas is coming and with it the chance to give someone special tickets to watch the most exciting, award winning England team, unbeaten in their past 18 Test matches.
As Simon Middleton made history by becoming the first coach of a women's team to be named World Rugby Coach of the Year after leading England through a second successive calendar year unbeaten, tickets went on sale for fans to watch the Red Roses play two home internationals in the 2022 Women’s Six Nations.
While Middleton guides the team to what everyone hopes will be their third successive Grand Slam, the players will be raring to go, including Zoe Aldcroft, named World Rugby Women’s 15s Player of the Year and fellow shortlisted player, Poppy Cleall. Add to that those named alongside them as World Rugby Women’s 15s Dream Team of the Year: Sarah Bern, Abbie Ward, and Abby Dow and it’s a dream team indeed.
The Red Roses’ 18 consecutive Test victories, include the autumn’s back-to-back record wins over world champions New Zealand. If they achieve another Six Nations Grand Slam, they will remain number one in the world.
There’s everything to play for, not least a place in the squad for next year’s World Rugby Cup in New Zealand in October. Who wouldn’t want to be there to enjoy more action from the Red Roses as they take on Wales at Gloucester’s Kingsholm and Ireland at Leicester’s Welford Road?
