Grassroots teams for November announced

November's grassroots teams of the month have been confirmed using Electronic Match Card data.

This season England Rugby will be celebrating players and teams from across the leagues using Electronic Match Card data to bring statistics from the community game to life. 

Electronic Match Card allows everything from tries and points scored to best defensive performance and kick percentage records to be viewed for every team from level three to 12. Find out more here

Player of the month - Morgan Passman

National League One

Winger Morgan Passman has been in sensational form for Darlington Mowden Park throughout November, scoring eight tries in three games. He crossed the line four times against both Plymouth Albion and Birmingham Moseley in National League One. His finishing ability is an asset for DMP, as they look to push up the tightly contested table. The Durham outfit currently sit seventh but are only 6 points behind leaders Richmond as we approach the Christmas break.

Level 3/4 - Worthing Raiders

National Two South 

Worthing Raiders didn't win a game in October, but have now registered four wins in their last five, lifting them to ninth in the National Two South table. They took 21 of 25 available points thanks to home wins against promotion-chasing Esher and Dings Crusaders, as well as impressive away victories at Clifton and Barnes. They almost made it a clean sweep of victories in November, but narrowly lost out to Bury. Full back Matt McLean scored 44 points in November, whilst hooker Elliot Luke and centre Jack Forrest lead the side's try count with three each.

Level 5 - Wimbledon RFC

London Premier

Wimbledon currently head up London Premier by six points having won all 11 of their games this season. November saw them overcome Hertford (25-7), Dorking (27-16) and Brighton (41-24). December will be a test, as it sees them meet Guernsey and Tunbridge Wells in consecutive weeks - both of whom occupy the top four.

Level 6 - York RUFC

North 1 East

York won all three of their games in November, keeping up the pressure on leaders Morley. They sit second in the table on points difference. Their most impressive victory in November came against Huddersfield (52-6). They will be aiming to finish the year strongly in their final two games of 2019, against Durham City and Kendal.

Level 7 - South Shields Westoe RFC

Durham/Northumberland Division One

South Shields Westoe kicked on in November and now sit third in the league following three bonus-point wins. Their opening victory of the month came away to Barnard Castle (39-0) and was also the third game in-a-row where they had not conceded a point.

Level 8 - Hoylake RFC

Lancs/Cheshire Division One   

Hoylake won all four of their games in November and sit second in the league, just six points behind leaders Orrell. Three bonus-point wins and a hard fought victory over third place Congleton see them sitting in a good position before the December batch of fixtures.

Level 9-12 - Bristol Harlequins

Tribute Somerset 1

Bristol Harlequins lead the way in Somerset 1 by 14 points, having won all four games in November with bonus-points. They will be looking to cement their place at the top with the remaining two fixtures of 2019.

Women's Level 2-3 - Beckenham Ladies

Championship South East 2

An impressive November sees Beckenham Ladies sit third in the league just five points behind the leaders. Impressive away victories at Hampstead and Old Elthamians sandwiched a home win against Sutton & Epsom.

Women's Level 4-6 - Penryn Ladies

Three-from-three in November and with six wins on the bounce, Penryn Ladies sit third in the standings just two points behind leaders Exeter Athletic Dakotas, with three games in hand. In three of their six games this season they have not conceded a point and scored over 70 points twice.
