Mitsubishi Motors Volunteer of the Year winners announced
Mitsubishi Motors Volunteer of the Year winners were announced at a virtual award night last Friday.
The Mitsubishi Motors Volunteer Recognition Programme gives grassroots rugby clubs a unique opportunity to recognise the volunteers across the country who make up an integral part of the game. This was the fourth year of the Mitsubishi Motors Volunteer awards, and here are the winners.
Michael O’Connor - Stamford Rugby
Michael O’Connor has catapulted the profile of Stamford to new heights and significantly enhanced the profile of the club thanks to his energy on social media. He has attracted new players, enhanced income and managed both senior and youth teams.
Jade Adkins - Falmouth RFC
Jade Adkins has revolutionised life at Falmouth both on and off the pitch. Jade, who has managed the youth section at the club for five years, has championed welfare and protection, diversified the Falmouth clubhouse and has significantly enhanced facilities across the board.
Rebecca Davies - Windsor RFC
Rebecca Davies has blazed a trail at Windsor through her inspirational work. Her role has spanned: coaching, securing sponsorship, attracting new players and working with local schools, as well as instilling the right values into the club’s youth section and nurturing young talent.
