RFU pays tribute to former England prop Drake-Lee

The Rugby Football Union (RFU) has paid tribute to former England prop Nick Drake-Lee who died at the age of 78 on Friday 22nd January.

Nick played for England between 1963 and 1965 winning eight caps. He featured in all four games of the Five Nations in 1963, when England won the title, scoring a try in the Calcutta Cup match.

Nick played 73 games for Leicester between 1962-68 and was a Cambridge Blue from 1961, an undefeated season, until 1963.  

Born in Kettering, Nick played wing forward for Kettering RFC and served as their seniors coach, mini & juniors coach, and was their President in 1986.
