RFU pays tribute to Jim Roberts
The RFU has paid tribute to former England player Jim Roberts who died on Sunday 1 November, aged 88.
With three Cambridge Blues, Jim scored two tries on his England debut, playing on the wing at Twickenham in January 1960 and beating Wales 14-6.
He also featured in the 1963 match against Scotland when, under captain and fly half Richard Sharp, England won 10-8 to take the Five Nations Championship for the last time until 1980.

With a total of 18 England caps, Jim was a dynamic wing, playing alongside the likes of Dickie Jeeps, Malcolm Philips, Peter Jackson and Budge Rogers. He won his final cap against New Zealand at Twickenham in January 1964. He played for Old Millhillians RFC, Middlesex and Sale.
