Top Try scorers
Marlie Packer scored seven tries during the 2023 Championship, more than any player. Her memorable hat trick against Scotland came in just nine minutes, helping the side to a 58-7 victory in their opening game.
Minutes Played
Holly Aitchison was the only Red Rose to play every minute of the campaign, with each of her appearances being as the starting fly half. She tops the Six Nations leaderboard for try assists (6) and kicked a staggering 2232 metres throughout the Championship.
Tackles
Captain Packer also leads as the Red Roses’ most prolific tackler, putting in 73 tackles across five games. Only three other players made more: Italy’s Giordana Duca (76), Scotland’s Evie Gallagher (81) and Ireland’s Neve Jones (90).
Turnovers won
Packer’s defensive prowess is further emphasised by her turnover count, having made seven throughout the campaign. She joins Wales’ Beth Lewis at the top of the Six Nations turnover leaderboard.
Hannah Botterman’s contributions at the breakdown are impressive; The loosehead prop made four turnovers after making her return to the Test stage from the bench in England’s 3-59 win against Wales in round three.
Carries
Leading from the front once again, Packer also leads as the TikTok Six Nations’ top carrier with 71. Abby Dow features as the only back in England’s top five rankings for carries, with Sadia Kabeya, Zoe Aldcroft and Sarah Bern also making the cut.
Metres Carried
Unsurprisingly, Abby Dow tops the leaderboards for metres carried with a huge 722 metres, more than any other player. Dow scored four tries in England’s 68-5 victory over Italy, making 205 metres in that game alone. She also leads for defenders beaten, brushing off 29 defenders.
