Keep your eyes on:
- Luke Cowan-Dickie's return. The Sale hooker hasn't played for England since the Autumn Nations Series game against South Africa in 2022, but is named among the replacements to face Australia.
- Ollie Sleightholme's impact from the bench. Sleightholme came on for the last few minutes in both summer Tests against New Zealand, making a visible impact, and gets another shot against Australia after coming into the match day 23.
- Marcus Smith's try-scoring ability. Last time England faced Australia, Smith picked up a loose ball on half-way and span out of the tackle, before racing in to score and extend England's lead.
