Former England Men’s flanker Bryan West has died aged 76.

At domestic level he played for Northampton Saints before moving to Rugby League’s Wakefield Trinity in 1970.

He continued to be involved in rugby even after retiring from the sport by becoming a PE teacher, imparting his knowledge and love of rugby to the next generation in his role as director of sport at Millfield Prep School.
