Red Roses side to face Canada in WXV decider
Head coach John Mitchell has made three changes to his starting XV to attack the Red Roses’ final match of WXV 1 against Canada at BC Place.
Bo Westcombe-Evans comes into an otherwise unchanged backline in place of Abby Dow who will go through the graduated return to play protocol following a suspected concussion in the Round 2 win over New Zealand.
Rosie Galligan comes into the second row and Maddie Feaunati starts at blindside flanker. Both Abbie Ward and Morwenna Talling are among the replacements.
“Last weekend was an outstanding example of improvement within the group,” said Mitchell. “We want to deliver another high-standard performance against Canada. We remain focused on the challenge that awaits, and we are ready to attack it.”
