Danny Care
Danny Care made his England debut back in 2008 against New Zealand and has since gone on to earn over 90 caps for his country.His rugby career began in Leeds, before he signed for Harlequins in 2006. Danny has represented England at nine levels, through the age grade system and a stint in the sevens code, in which he won a Commonwealth Games silver medal. In an international career spanning 15 years and counting, Care recently featured in Steve Borthwick’s Rugby World Cup 2023 squad. The scrum half was named in Borthwick’s 36-player squad ahead of the Guinness Men’s Six Nations 2024.

What is a Scrum Half?
The scrum half, or number 9, links forwards and backs, taking the ball from the scrum or lineout, and putting pressure on the opposition nine. With a kicking armoury, man management and decision skills, the nine knows when to make breaks or to pass.
