Ella Wyrwas
Saracens back Wyrwas has combined her rise through the ranks in elite rugby with studying for a degree in Biology.Wyrwas spent time at Loughborough Lightning to combine her degree with regular appearances in the Allianz Premier 15s before returning to Saracens in August 2021. Ella was named in Simon Middleton's squad for the 2023 TikTok Women's Six Nations Championship and made her debut against Scotland at Kingston Park. Later that year, she was named in the Red Roses squad for the inaugural WXV tournament in New Zealand before retaining her place in the squad for the 2024 Guinness Women's Six Nations.

What is a Scrum Half?
The scrum half, or number 9, links forwards and backs, taking the ball from the scrum or lineout, and putting pressure on the opposition nine. With a kicking armoury, man management and decision skills, the nine knows when to make breaks or to pass.
