Asher Opoku-Fordjour
Asher Opoku-Fordjour signed with the Sale Sharks Academy in November 2022 and earned a senior contract following an impressive 2023/24 season with the Premiership club.The tighthead prop played in the 2023 U20 Six Nations and World Rugby U20 Championship in South Africa. The beginning of the 2023/24 season saw Asher break through to the Sale first team, earning appearances in the Gallagher Premiership and Investec Champions Cup. He was named in Mark Mapletoft's England U20 Men Elite Playing Squad for the 2023/24 season and featured prominently as England won the 2024 U20 Six Nations title. Asher was named in Mapletoft's 30-player squad for the 2024 edition of the World Rugby U20 Championship and played a starring role in England's global triumph. Mapletoft selected him for England A's win over Australia A at Twickenham Stoop in November 2024.
