Jess Breach
There cannot have been many players that have made such an impact as Jess Breach did on her international debut when she scored an incredible six tries against Canada. She followed up with another five tries against the same opponent on her second cap. A former sprint hurdler at the English Schools Athletics Championships, she started playing rugby at age six at Chichester RFC. In 2018, she moved to England Sevens and was part of the bronze medal-winning team at the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games and played at the World Cup Sevens in San Francisco. In January 2019, she returned to XVs as one of 28 contracted England players. Since then, she has been an integral figure in the squad and was included in the squad that made the Rugby World Cup final in the delayed 2021 tournament. Breach featured in the Red Roses’ Grand Slam-winning Six Nations squad in 2023 and later featured in their WXV1 title-winning campaign in New Zealand. Breach was recently named in John Mitchell’s squad for the 2024 Guinness Women’s Six Nations.
