Lark Atkin-Davies
Watching rugby on TV inspired Lark Atkin-Davies to take up the game aged 10 at Orleton Primary School in Shropshire before she moved on to Wigmore High School, Ludlow College and the University of Worcester. Lark’s international breakthrough came for the U20 side, for which she made eight appearances. She made her first international start against Italy in the 2018 Six Nations on her 10th cap, then scored twice in England’s win over Canada at Castle Park in 2018. In 2019 she featured in every game of the Six Nations and scored two tries as the Red Roses won the Grand Slam. She was part of England’s 2021 Six Nations campaign and represented the Red Roses in the 2021 autumn internationals and the 2022 Six Nations, winning player of the match in the decider in France. After joining Bristol Bears ahead of the 2022/23 season, she was part of the squad that travelled to New Zealand for the delayed 2021 Rugby World Cup before returning a year later for the inaugural WXV tournament. Lark was recently named in John Mitchell’s squad for the Guinness Women’s Six Nations 2024.
