Aiden Ainsworth-Cave

Aiden Ainsworth-Cave initially joined the Northampton Saints Academy at Under-14 level, and is currently in his first season for the club's senior academy. He played for Bedford School and Bedford Junior Blues and returned to Under-18s action at the close of the 2023/24 season after a year out of action through injury, playing in Saints’ final Academy League game at home to Newcastle Falcons and then in the Final. Ainsworth-Cave has also won international honours, having represented England Under-18s in the 2024 Six Nations festival. Primarily a second-row but capable of playing back-row, he has already made two appearances for England U20 against Cambridge and Bath United and was selected in Mark Mapletoft's squad for the 2025 U20 Six Nations.
