What is it?
XRugby is a modified contact format that can be played with 5, 7, or 10 players on each team. It is played across the pitch with rolling substitutions. The number of players on the pitch determines the rules of that will be played.
Who can play?
In XRugby, tackling is involved so this format is for those who have some previous contact experience; otherwise, anyone who is old enough to play contact rugby can play.
What to Expect?
XRugby is most often used in training sessions at clubs – however, many clubs are starting to offer it as a low commitment contact offer during the week. Ask your local club for more information.
