Tom Willis

In 2016 Willis represented England U18s and was also included in the 2018 World Rugby U20 Championship squad that reached the final of that competition. After being included in England’s senior training squad for the 2023 Rugby World Cup, Willis made his international debut coming on as a second half substitute against Wales in August of that year. He started for England A against Australia A in November 2024, playing the full 80 minutes as England A won 38-17. His form this season has seen him rewarded with a place in Steve Borthwick's squad for the 2025 Guinness Men's Six Nations.

Position guide
What is a Back Row?

The back row consists of two flankers and the No 8. The blind-side flanker wears six and the open-side flanker seven, both specialising in big tackles and winning possession through turnovers. They are fearless, strong and fast to the breakdown. The No 8 secures the ball at the base of the scrum, is an attacking link between forwards and backs and a real force when defending.
