Tommy Freeman
Tommy Freeman endured a turbulent start to his rugby career but is now flourishing with Northampton. He started out playing rugby for Wymondham RFC in Leicester’s catchment area despite living in Suffolk in Northampton’s catchment area. He notably made the move from Leicester over to the Saint’s Academy late on in his school life signing for them ahead of the 2019/20 season. He quickly settled in at Franklin’s Gardens, making his Premiership debut in 2020 aged 19. His performances earned him a spot with England’s U20 side and he soon caught the attention of former head coach Eddie Jones who moved him to England’s senior squad ahead of the 2021 Autumn Internationals. He made his England debut in the second Test of England’s tour to Australia in 2022, before making his Twickenham debut in the Autumn Nations Series the same year against South Africa. Freeman was recently named in Steve Borthwick's squad for the 2025 Guinness Men's Six Nations.

One of the seven backs, the full back is brave in defence, safe under the high ball in pressurised situations and is always looking to run as an attacking force - a good communicator and organiser with positional awareness.
