Kildunne & Hunt react to Scotland win

Ellie Kildunne and Natasha Hunt react to England's emphatic win in Edinburgh.

Despite being reduced to 14 players, the Red Roses ran in eight tries at a sold out Hive Stadium in Edinburgh to triumph over Scotland 0-46.

Kildunne was named Player of the Match after scoring two tries, making 97 metres with her 12 carries and beating two defenders.

"I think it was quite a sticky game the weather definitely didn't help," she said. "But I think we adapted to the conditions well. We still have a lot to work on but to put that amount of points on any team we've got to be proud.

"Today was a team performance. We only got the space on the edge because of the girls working hard in the middle. We speak about confidence and taking the handbrake off, and each game we try to do that a little more. Each game we unlock a new strength or strategy and now we build for the big ones at the end.

Scrum half Natasha Hunt added: "It's so exciting playing with a backline like that, and a forward pack that gives you so much go-forward.

"In the week it's tough because we go at each other so hard and there is a lot in the legs coming into match days like this but it just makes the game a little easier because of that. I'm absolutely loving it."
