Reaction to the Red Roses' bonus-point win against Wales

Hear from player of the match Ellie Kildunne and captain Zoe Aldcroft following England's 12-67 win against Wales in the second round of the 2025 Women's Six Nations.

Ellie Kildunne earned player of the match on her 50th cap, while also scoring a hat-trick and being the top point-scorer of the game.

She said: "You can't write it, I couldn't have imagined it. Everything today was fitting, but there's still lots to work on, but to walk out on my 50th cap in front of such an incredible crowd and stadium is something I'm very proud of.

"Pressure is definitely a privilege and every time we step out here as an England squad we want to surprise and keep on raising high expectations. We're not at our best yet and we're going to keep on getting better.

"I think we're going to take it to levels we've not been too before. Obviously we have the Six Nations and a big tournament at the end of the year and we're going to keep on pushing until we get to a point where we can't imagine what's next."

Zoe Aldcroft, on her second game as captain, said: "All week we've spoken about our intent and how we want to give that 80-minute performance. In the first half we slipped a bit on our execution and we spoke about that at half time and how we were going to get back on track by being direct.

"I cannot fault the effort from the girls, the intent from minute one to 80, we kept going and going. I think the competition in the squad is healthy and we need it to help each individual grow."
