England captain Finn Carnduff reacts to winning the World Rugby U20 Championship following his team’s 21-13 victory over France.
With this win, Mark Mapletoft’s side sealed a first Championship title since 2016, having won every game of the tournament.
Having led narrowly at half-time thanks to a converted try from Joe Bailey, England scored 14 points in the second half to open up a 15-point gap, before France scored a late consolation try.

“I can’t really believe it I’ll be honest but it's amazing. I just want to say that group is super special.
“I genuinely see those guys as brothers for life and we’ve said that throughout this tournament, and to win two trophies together - honestly I can’t believe it.
“I think we felt like in the first half it was our errors that were causing us to be on the backfoot.
“When you put yourselves on the backfoot with a French team like that with momentum you’re going to struggle. We said at half-time we needed to go back to our principles and I think we did that.”
