England U17 Men's development squads confirmed

Head coach Jonathan Pendlebury and assistant coach Will Parkin have confirmed a 57-player cohort for this weekend’s England U17 Men’s camp.

The development camp, hosted at St. George’s Park, sees two separate squads assemble in as many days in Burton-upon-Trent.

The U17 Men’s team reconvene at Hartpury College on Thursday 8 May for a four-day camp.

Will Parkin said: “As we reach the apex of our season at U18 level, this weekend offers a window for our staff to integrate some new faces to our pathway.

“The focus of our spring U17 Men’s camps is to primarily serve as an opportunity for many to make their mark and explore boundaries in an England setting, whilst also forming the basis of our selection considerations for this summer’s tour of South Africa.

“The programme for each day is designed to be an intense introduction to the expectations we set for the U18 Men’s team with two rugby sessions and review meetings each. The staff and I are eager to see how the team raise their standards to match our level of expectation.”
