England U20 Men Six Nations fixtures announced
England return to action with a visit to Ireland.
England U20 Men will begin the defence of their U20 Six Nations title with a trip to face Ireland on Thursday 30th January 2025, 19:45 GMT kick-off.
Six Nations Rugby have confirmed the fixtures, dates and kick-off times of the 2025 edition of the competition, with BBC iPlayer and S4C confirmed as the domestic broadcaster for the competition’s fixtures.
Mark Mapletoft’s side then enter a three-match run of home games against France, Scotland and Italy, before concluding their campaign away from home against Wales.
England won their first Six Nations crown since 2021 with an unbeaten run that culminated in a 45-31 victory over France in Pau.
The team then repeated the feat in July with a 21-13 win over the French to win the World Rugby U20 Championship, only the second time England have won both U20 competitions in the same year.
Since the inception of the U20 Six Nations Championship in 2008, more than 80 pathway players have made the transition into the senior men squad.
Venues and ticketing information for the team’s home fixtures against France, Scotland and Italy will be communicated in due course.
Mark Mapletoft said: "As one season draws to a close, we look forward to the next challenge on the horizon as we enter the Six Nations as reigning champions for the first time in three years.
"We've had some fantastic experiences over the last year with an incredibly special group, culminating in a memorable night in Cape Town in July. The next few months will be exciting as well as important in our decision making ahead of the selection of our new Elite Player Squad this autumn.
"With these fixtures confirmed, it gives us a focus to work towards with a refreshed group that will be determined as ever to go on and replicate the successes of 2024."
