Stats & facts

England have won four of their last five matches against New Zealand, including each of their last two since losing by a three-point margin against the Black Ferns in the 2022 World Cup final (34-31).

This will be the fifth time that the Red Roses and Black Ferns have met in Canada, New Zealand have won all four previous such clashes, with those fixtures taking place in 2000, 2004, 2006 and most recently in 2015.

Since March 2018, New Zealand are the only last team to beat England (twice), since then the Red Roses have won 60 of 62 matches against all opponents.

Georgia Brock made 22 tackles against the USA last week, without missing a single one, the best tally by an England player without missing since Marlier Packer also made 22/22 against Scotland in the 2022 Six Nations.
