Red Roses' group games confirmed for Women's Rugby World Cup 2025
John Mitchell's side face Australia, USA and Samoa in Pool A of Women's Rugby World Cup 2025.
Red Roses' Pool A fixtures:
- England v USA - Friday 22 August - 19:30 BST kick-off - Stadium of Light, Sunderland
- England v Samoa - Saturday 30 August - 17:00 BST kick-off - Franklin's Gardens, Northampton
- England v Australia - Saturday 06 September - 17:00 BST kick-off - Brighton and Hove Albion Stadium, Brighton and Hove
England will play the USA in the opening game of the tournament at Sunderland's Stadium of Light on 22 August 2025, kicking off at 19:30 BST.
The Red Roses have won the tournament on two occasions in 1994 and 2014, and have finished top of their group in each tournament they have played in.
Australia's best finish at the tournament came in 2010, when they finished third, while USA were the first team to win the tournament in 1991 and were beaten by the Red Roses in 1994's final. Samoa are making their fourth appearance at the tournament, their first since 2014.
The world number ones recently secured a second successive WXV 1 title after beating Canada 12-21 in Vancouver.
