Shine a spotlight on rugby’s unsung heroes in the Honda Volunteer of the Year Awards

Nominations are now open for the Honda Volunteer of the Year Awards 2025 to celebrate and thank the people who make rugby happen.

The Honda Volunteer of the Year Awards provide the opportunity to recognise the incredible achievements and contributions of the inspiring people at your club, referee society or organisation.

Last year over 2,000 volunteers were recognised at local events across England, before 43 finalists were celebrated at a national awards ceremony held at Allianz Stadium, Twickenham.

So whether you want to put forward an individual or a group of volunteers, why not nominate today?

RFU President Rob Udwin said: “I am delighted that through the Honda Volunteer Recognition Programme, we can recognise the exceptional work that has gone into supporting rugby clubs over the past year. The Honda Volunteer of the Year awards provide a great opportunity to celebrate these volunteers and say thank you”

Rebecca Adamson, Head of UK Automobile, Honda added: “Honda was built upon the Power of Dreams, that same challenging spirit can be found in abundance at local rugby clubs up and down the country. Honda UK is proud to help recognise the volunteers who work tirelessly to support their local rugby communities.”
