Angus Bujalski, Executive Director of Legal & Governance

Angus Bujalski is the RFU’s Director of Legal and Governance. 

He is responsible for the RFU’s game-wide governance functions, including on- and off-field discipline, safeguarding and integrity. He is also responsible for the RFU’s corporate governance, and led the recent project to ensure that the RFU complies with the Code for Sports Governance published by Sport England and UK Sport. 

His remit also includes corporate social responsibility and fundraising, and he is the RFU group’s nominated Data Protection Officer.

Angus trained as a solicitor at the city law firm Slaughter and May, and prior to joining the RFU in 2010 he worked at a boutique sport, media and entertainment law firm. He holds a first class history degree from Cambridge and a masters in sports law.
