Biography
James is a former Warwickshire Schoolboy captain and a current Hampshire RFU match official.
Having served 30 years in the Army and 21 years in the Army Rugby Union; he is now the Chairman of the Army Rugby Union.
James chairs the Agents Review Board, is a member of the RFU Governance Committee, and a member of the RFU Board since 2022.
He is employed as a Programme Director in the Army HQ.
He is married to Helen, a former England Students player and has two children.
