Zoe started playing rugby as it ran in the family. Her father John, who formerly represented Wales Schools, and brothers Alex and Eddie, the former of whom spent time with Wasps and featured for their A League side. The running fly half was in the talent development group at age 14 and made the step up to senior rugby in the 2016-17 season with Saracens, where she was named players’ player of the year. She started both the 2018 and 2019 Premier 15s finals for Saracens. Her England bow arrived in 2017 against Canada where she made three appearances as a replacement in the autumns and kicked her first points from the tee. She featured in all five games of the Six Nations that year, starting the final three games as the Red Roses won the Grand Slam. She featured in all of England’s Super Series matches as well as the autumns. Zoe featured in all 2020 Six Nations matches and won the same tournament a year later. She started three on England’s four internationals in 2021 and was a key part of the team’s 2022 Six Nations success. Zoe lifted the 2022 Premier 15s title with Saracens. Recently, Zoe was named in John Mitchell’s squad for the 2024 Guinness Women’s Six Nations following a period of absence through injury.
