Ben Curry
Ben Curry received his first call-up to the England squad at the age of 18 along with identical twin brother Tom.Although Ben was named in the side to face the Barbarians in that summer of 2017, a back injury forced him to pull out of that game with Tom replacing him and earning a man-of-the-match award. A player at Crewe & Nantwich RUFC, Ben captained the England U20 side to the final of the World Rugby U20 Championship in France in 2018. An impressive all round back row player and excellent jackler over the ball, Curry was again called up to the England squad in June 2021 for the summer Tests against USA and Canada. He featured in the 2024 Guinness Men’s Six Nations and was recently named in Steve Borthwick's squad for the 2024 Summer Series tour of Japan and New Zealand.

What is a Back Row?
The back row consists of two flankers and the No 8. The blind-side flanker wears six and the open-side flanker seven, both specialising in big tackles and winning possession through turnovers. They are fearless, strong and fast to the breakdown. The No 8 secures the ball at the base of the scrum, is an attacking link between forwards and backs and a real force when defending.
