England Qualified Players

AltText

An England Qualified Player (EQP) is a player qualified to play rugby football for England under World Rugby Regulation 8.

Whilst this accounts for a large majority of players in England, for player registration purposes, the RFU currently only seeks to record this information for those who play for a club in the Premiership, Championship or Premiership Women’s Rugby (PWR) competition.

Clubs can apply for a player to have EQP status when submitting an RFU Player Registration or retrospectively once a player is ‘RFU Registered’.

Players can view this guide on how to confirm their EQP status for further support. This can be completed as part of their RFU Registration or retrospectively once they have already been registered with their current club.
